Last summer, I went to Barcelona. I went with two friends by car. We stayed in a hotel in the city centre. The first evening, we went out to dinner to an Italian restaurant. After that we went out to a disco, there I met a foreign man, he was very funny. We also visited many monuments. For example: The Sacred Family Cathedral, Gaudi´s house and others. The next day, we went to buy some souveniers for our family and friends. One day we went out to Port Aventure. It is a
funfairtheme park, where there are many attractions. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. The next day, we went to a beach resort near Tarragona, there we sunbathed. One day we rented a boat and we went sailing. I was afraid, because I can´t swim. The next day my friend Gloria was ill, we went to a hospital. HOLIDAYS
Last summer I went to a golf and spa resort “Valle del Este” in Almería, Spain.
I went with my wife, Teresa. We went by car and I drove too many hours and we were very tired when we arrived in Almeria.
It was very hot but the hotel had a wonderful swimming pool.
We needed to have a rest because we were stressed at work, and we only wanted to swim and sunbathe.
We visited
atypical villages in Almeria, Mojacar, Carboneras, Vera, etc. And we went sight seeing too. I took photographs all the time and Teresawentpreferred to go shopping.It was a prefect holiday, and we could relax for 10 days.

Last summer I went to Germany. I went with my husband and my eldest son.
We went by plane from Santander to Frankfurt, there we rented a car.
For three days we visited the idyllic medieval towns of Colonia, Rotenbourg, Dresden- high towers, heavy walls, old churches – . We made a great cruise along the Rhin.
Then we stayed in Berlin for four days. In the morning we went sightseeing and at night we looked for traditional restaurants. The typical food is roast pork. We like drinking a good white wine or a big beer whit meals.
The weather was variable; cloudy, rainy and also sunny.
Berlin is a big city. It has got many modern buildings – for example the glass dome of the Parliament built by the British architect Norman Foster. It´s a great place to visit exhibitions of photography and painting. I think Berlin is a home of artist.

My favourite holiday was last year. I went to Jamaica with my boyfriend. We went by plane in October.
The trip was very long and hard. The seat was very small and unconfortable.
We stayed in a hotel in Montego Bay. The hotel was very big and beautiful. There were three swimming-pools, big gardens, a disco, a gym and five restaurants. We met a lot of Spanish people at the hotel. It was very hot.
We got up early in the morning because we went to an excursion. We visited a lot of beaches. The beaches were very nice in Jamaica. We went to a small safari. We saw birds, crocodiles…
In the afternoon we went shopping. I bought rhum, t-shirts, pictures, towels, coffee and figures.
We had dinner in the hotel. The food was very good. There was pizza, meat, fish, fruit, typical Jamaica´s food, ice-cream, etc…
After that we went to the disco. We went to bed very late. We stayed in Jamaica for seven days. We came back to Spain by plane. We were sleeping all the trip.
I loved Jamaica.

I´m going to tell you about my best holiday. My best holiday was a trip to Nepal two years ago. I was with my wife and another couple of friends. The flight was very long we did a stopover in Doha after fourteen hours. Doha is the capital of Qatar, which is a little country in Persico Gulf, near Saudi Arabia. Doha is a new city with very big buildings near the Arabian sea.
We were in Nepal for three weeks. Nepal is a country in the middle of Asia, between China and India. There are thirty million people, Spain is five times bigger than Nepal. We went trekking around the Annapurnas for twenty days.
Everyday we got up at seven, after breakfast we walked for seven hours. We saw very nice landscape. Everyday we went up a mountain to a pass which was 5,000 meters high.
The food was very simple, we had rice everyday, with chicken o vegetables, but we weren´t hungry although it was boring.
Everynight we slept in very simple hotels, with one toilet for all the people, and what a toilet! The bed was a table with a leg.
But the trip was very interesting.

MY LAST AND BEST HOLIDAYS
I going to tell you about of my last holidays.
Last September I went on holidays to Paris with my boyfriend. We stayed in a friend´s house 15 km from Paris. We went for a week.
The flight was short. It was two hours from Asturias Airport to Challes de Gaulle Airport.
During the two first days we had a good time and afterwards the weather was awful. It was cloudy, rainy and freezing.
We went sightseeing all the time. We went to visit the Eiffel Tower, the Triump Arc, the Pantheon, the Sacre Coeur Basilica, Versalles Palace, Louvre Museum, D´Orsay Museum, Disneyland, etc.
I enjoyed myself very much and I bought a lot o souvenirs for my family and for my friends too.

ANECDOTE ON MY HOLIDAYS
Last September I went on holidays to Paris with my boyfriend. The last day the weather was awful. It was raining a lot and windy too. To return to my friend´s house we had to walk for ten minutes from the train station. Our umbrella was broken by wind the day before and it didn´t last any more. The umbrella got broken and quickly we had to stop at McDonalds halfway. We were soaked! Finally we decided to have dinner there. Unluckily we had to eat very fast because the restaurant was closing. Suddenly we were in the street and the weather got worse, and we started running towards home. When we arrived home we were completely soaked! We were very angry, very cold and sneezing. The next day we laughed about this adventure but we got a cold. It was horrible!!

Hello! I´m going to try to describe my last holiday.
Last October I travelled to Praha and Budapest with my boyfriend and two friends, Juan and Eloisa.
We were in Praha for four days and four days more in Budapest. Both cities are too far from Spain, so we went by plane.
Praha is a beautiful place but its people are unfriendly. There we went to the Opera, took some photos of the old clock and the town Hall, we visited a few synagogues, the Jewish ghetto, the cathedral and San Carlos bridge. We stayed at an Italian apartment, where we ate almost everyday but we drank a lot of good beer in Praha´s pubs.
The last day in Czech Republic we visited “ Terezin”, a Nazi concentration camp. There we felt pain in the air. It wasn´t nice but I liked visiting it. We shouldn´t forget what happened there.
In Budapest there weren´t so many tourist as in Praha and the people were nice. We visited famous baths and bought typical food like “Paprika”.
Someday we´ll come back

Last holiday
Last year, I went with my husband to the Palma Island in the Canary Islands.
We went in February for ten days. We flew from Santander to Madrid where we changed planes. It landed at Santa Cruz airport.
That airport is surprising because the landing strip seems built on the sea at the foot of a big and black cliff.
It took us nine hours, more or less, to go from Santander to Palma Island.
We stayed in an apartment-hotel, eight kilometers far from Santa Cruz de la Palma, the capital city of the island, so we rented a car to visit the island.
The Palma Island is a beautiful place. It’s a volcanic island with a lot of active volcanoes. The latest eruption was the Teneguia’s volcano in 1971, only forty years ago. But also it has native woods – “laurisilva’s woods”- and wonderful plants and flowers because it rains a lot.
There are many beautiful beaches; most of them with black sand and the
sidewalks along the beach are built with black volcanic rock.
In February, the weather is usually good, so it was sunny most of days; but two days were terrible. The first day was cold, cloudy and windy, but the second day, there was a big storm with heavy showers, gale strong winds, lightning and thunderclaps. There was a big snowstorm on the top of mountains. The next day the weather was warm and sunny but the mountain pass was closed to traffic. We went for a walk in the snow with our hiking boots and walking sticks. The top of mountain was 2,400 meters high and the young people were doing surf on the snow on the road.

MY LAST HOLIDAY
My last Holiday was last week. I went with two friends. We went to Italy by plane from Santander to Bergamo. In Bergamo we took a bus to Milan and we went on a train from Milan to Pavia.
We arrived in the evening and after meeting our sons, we went out to have dinner to Trattoria Cupolone. It was a good choice because it had Italian food and nice music.
The first day we went shopping to Milan. We spent a lot of money in clothes for our sons.
The next days we were in Pavia and we walked around in the centre city. We ate a lot of Italian food.
The weather was terrible. While we were in Pavia it was raining and it was cold but we were happy with our sons.
We spent five days on the trip and we stayed in a Hotel in Pavia and Bergamo
The best day was the last day in Bergamo. It was sunny but it was cold because Bergamo is near the Alps. There is a medieval small city around the Venetian walls “Città alta”. It’s the historic centre of Bergamo.
After that we went back home.

Last summer I went to Majorca. I went in June. I went with my mother and my son. We went by plane.We went for 10 days.
We stayed in a hotel near the beach. In the hotel there were many foreigners. They were German. They were very noisy. In the hotel there was a wonderful swimming pool and a disco.
In the morning, we went to the beach near the hotel. The beach was very beautiful. We swam in the sea and sunbathed every day. We drank beer and water every morning. After that we went to have lunch to the hotel.
In the afternoon we went to the beach too, and in the evening we went to take a shower and have dinner to the the hotel. At night we walked beside the beach. We also visited many monuments. For example:Majorca`s cathedral and Barcelo’s altar???.

I went to Ibiza three years ago in the summer. I went to my girlfriend there. We lived in Valencia and we didn´t know Ibiza, so as we were near Ibiza, we decided to go to Ibiza for five days. I had always wanted to visit Ibiza. We got there by plane from Valencia, the flight was short, only 30 minutes. I have never flown and I liked it a lot, it was great.
We got to the Ibiza airpot and from there we took a taxi that took us to the Hotel. The Hotel was in Santa Eulalia del Rio, 20 km from Ibiza town. It is a small and tourist town. The hotel was out the city, over a cliff, you can see Ibiza from there, it was a wonderful place.The hotel was big, there were many rooms. It had a great swimming pool and several restaurants into. We had breakfast and had dinner in the hotel and had lunch out.The first day we went to rent a car but there weren´t cars available until the following day, so that day we went to visit Santa Eulalia in the morning. After that we went to the beach near hotel in the afternoon, we were too tired and we relaxed on the beach and then we went to the hotel to had dinner. After dinner we went to the beb, it was early but we were tired. Nex day we rented a car, we could visit the island. The following days we walked all over the island with the car. We saw beautiful beachs with clear waters and white sand, wonderful landscapes, lovely coastal villages, it was fantastic.
One day we took a ship that took us to Formentera. The journey by ship was great and when we got to Formentera we rented a motorbike to visit the island.
Formentera is a small lovely island, we could see wondeful beachs, sand dunes, and great landscapes. It was summer and there were many people there but we found a beach without people and we spent there everytime, swimming and sunbathed, it was great.
We didn´t go out any day at night except the last day because we were too tired and we went to the bed early. We went to a disco in Ibiza near Ambosa beach. It was a big disco but expensive, we spent much money there but we had a good time.
I think I will go back to Ibiza again, I really liked that place, We had a good time.

My best holiday was when I went to malyisa with my wife for honeymoon befor seven years. We arranged for this holiday through travel agents office and we choose our holiday to be whole package holiday so that we arrenged for every thingsvlike hotels, flying, transportatin and cities. When arrived there, we relaxed for the first evining, and the days after we made alot of activites such as we went hiking, safari, cruise and sightseeing
